Heal thyself!
In 1984, after a fall, I was told that I had a cervical sprain and was experiencing phantom pains. No physiotherapy; I was told to work it off. Over the next year, I was prescribed 20 different medications. WCB said I had a preexisting condition. The Federal government sued us and seized our income. Working it off took 20 years.
Oct 2023 CT Scan Report: Chronic findings including, but not limited to, mild wedging/compression of several vertebral bodies.
In 2006, after an idiot-induced heart attack, I was told by three different doctors that if I did not take statin medication, I would almost certainly have another heart attack. Over the next decade, I was prescribed hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars of drugs and surgeries. I stopped taking statins in 2017. Today, as I write this, I am working them off. Given my last rate of recovery, I should be recovered by 2037. I'll be 86. Millions of doctors believe in statins. I believe in metabolic pathways, mitochondria and the hippocampus.
In 2021, I found out that I have lung cancer. In 2022, I underwent six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Chemo was once a week, a three-day roller-coaster ride. Radiation was five days a week and only took 15 minutes. In my case, I took off my shirt and was strapped to a table using a head and upper mask that had been moulded to me.
Everyone in a cancer ward is sick. Three to four people an hour were strapped to that table five days a week.
I itch. My head itches, my back itches, my legs itch, my sides itch, and my anus itches. IMHO: It's not my hot tub. It's not my age.
Maybe it was the treatment, or maybe: it was the table.
